  • Sanford's public mistake was going out of the Country and the LT didn't know where he was. Edwards mistake was putting the POTUS (him) in a position where he could be blackmailed etc. assuming he is the farther of the child. Both are no good. Good point with Edwards.

  • Sanford shouldn't resign because of his infidelity. He should resign because he didn't put his Lt Gov in charge while he was out of the Country. He should “man up” because he called for others to resign for doing the same thing. I feel sorry for his wife and kids.
